The company

Water-based adhesive manufacturing since 2003.

Aditya Polymers began in Pune with a focus on dependable industrial adhesives. Today, The Glue Company brings its synthetic and starch-based product ranges together under one brand, supported by manufacturing, in-house development and application-focused service.

The portfolio serves bulk customers and contract-manufacturing requirements across India. Product selection is based on the materials being bonded, the production method and the demands placed on the finished product.

Adhesive technologies

Two adhesive technologies. One application-led portfolio.

Water-based synthetic adhesives

PVA- and VAM-based formulations support applications ranging from carton pasting and lamination to paper conversion, woodworking, textiles and flooring. Grades differ by solids content, viscosity, tack, setting behaviour and application requirement.

Modified-starch adhesives

Starch-based systems support paper tube winding, honeycomb panels, corrugation and related paper-board applications. The range includes hot- and cold-application grades for different converting processes.

Hot Melt is also available for specific bookbinding, edge-banding and labelling applications; it is not positioned as a third core technology.
